One of those Tuesdays!!!!

Before getting out of bed I knew this day would be a bit hectic day, since lots of tasks need to be done, little did I know that it would be a very busy Tuesday. With both of my kids by my side I was out of the house by 10 am on my way towards Vancouver Downtown. Had to stop by three places, which lucky for me turned out to be close by one another. Also end up stopping by the store for 5 minutes and forgot to feed the metering unit. End up getting a parking ticket for $15. Had lunch in Panera Bread. Erika and I Love their soups. Back on the road toward Portland Downtown for the meeting in Steward Title. Got stuck in traffic for about 45 minutes. End up missing my exit, and going for what seems like forever different direction. By the time I turn around and was on the freeway again it started raining hard and I was running late. Looking for parking in downtown on the weekday is one of my pet peves. I end up making couple circles around the building to get the closer parking I could get, since by now Abby was taking her second nap and I would need to drag the carseat with me. Was lucking enought to get a parking right infront of the building and getting to my meeting. The commute on my way back wasn't as bad and I was able to get home in time to make dinner, before my husband came home. Enjoyed doing Chicken / Mushroom Marsala with Tie Bow Pasta, while my kiddos were taking a nap.

It was a busy day, but I was able to get lots done and was relieved about it. Now I have to take care of my poor little Abby who is hopefully teething. She's been feeling very weak and cranky ever since we came from Napa Valley Trip. Had runny nose and drools alot. I am hoping its teeth, because really would not want her to be sick, plus she'll be 8 months in 3 days, so would be nice to see first teeth showing up pretty soon here. In addition I promised Erika to go to the library which would have to happend tomorrow.

After dinner and both kids in bed I was ready to relax and get back to create something for Element Boutique. Here are a few onesis that I decided to do.

Party Time!

Managed to bake his favorite cake just in time, before he came from work.

It was a last minute agreement to host a birthday party at the Lewisville Park for my hubby and myself. Family and friends were invited, food was prepaired, decorations bought, cake ordered, place reserved.... I was satisfied to get all that done within a day. The outcome came to be awesome. The weather turned out perfect for a party outside.
Some of the pictures of the friends and family enjoying the beautiful weather and a yummy homemade hamburger:

Update

Having 3 kids at one time is overwhelming! Especially if some of them are not yours. But I've survived 10 days with no regrets and believe did a good job taking care of everyone. Did several fun activities including, going to the skate park, movies (to watch "Diary of a whimpy kid"), to the mall (to get a pocket knife and pair of "COOL Boy" shoes and a belt), playing several board games and watching numerous kids movies at home, going BBQ while having fire in the back yard. Doing homework, prepearing lunches and breakfasts and practicing guitar. Also attending Talent Show.

As well as hosting a birthday party at the park for family and friends. It was quit an experience for both my husband and I.
The outcome: my hubby requested a SON, since he had great time playing water guns, fighting and karate. Also redicilous boys games that I did not find funny.

Of course here is a last invention of my work, that I managed to create in that mids of that week:

Double Sided, super soft Security Blanket for a Girl- $12.00

2 ea. Silver Silk Rosettes Shoe Clips- $8.00

Pale Yellow, Silk Flower Pin- $8.00

Until next time....

Movie Night!!!

My husband and I decided to watch a movie called "Travelers Wife" No I don't really like drama, but heard some good things about this movie, so we decided to watch it. Also heard that its a tear dropper. Well we'll see.....

Just a quick note about new pair of shoes that I made. These are Zebra Print with Orange flower. - Size 5. Love the feel of the organic interior linning. Check out my etsy shop if you're interested in different sizes.

Hopefully wont be crying too much from the movie.

Next 10 Days...

For the next 10 days my nephew is staying with us and it will be quit an experience, I already know. First of all he is 10, goes to private school (that means drop of at school by 8am, with prepared lunch in the morning and pick up at 3pm) ofcourse I am not used to it so this alone will be something. School every day, homework after school, guitar lessons, guitar practice,  a talent show to attend (ofcourse practice before the show) snowboarding trip and needs a hair cut. It doesn't sounds like much for 10 days, but in addition to my daily activities and both of my kids, I think I will be busy. PLUS, If I haven't mentioned next week is our birthdays, yes the St. Patricks Day. By "our" I mean, my hubby's and mine. We have the same Birthday "March 17" (but he is 4 years older and I) So a party to plan and prepare for. Probably on Saturday....

So I'll keep you posted as my days go by and hopefully I'll enjoy the experience of having a schooler at home.

Had an order come in for a baby girl hat and was really excited to get to it, since I've enjoyed knitting hats. I've knitted this one before for my baby girl, which became her favorite hat. And she looks so adorable in it.

While the kids were taking a nap I began working on the hat and enjoying freshly baked Peanut Butter Banana Cookies with cup of hot Black Tea.   YUM!

Rain.. Rain.. Rain...

Just a quick note before I head out to the doctors appointment with both kids. Not so exciting, dragging the carseat in the rain, while trying to hold on to Erika from running accross the street and the diaper bag in the other hand. Hey, but I've done it before numerous times, so this would be just another time.

Yesturday, had a good peaceful time, while George was playing with Erika and Abby was out for the night, to sit down and work on some accessories and and finish up few things.
Here is the outcome:

Comments are always welcome. Til next time. Element Boutique.
