Ever since my sister had a beautiful baby girl Janella Mia, I've been thinking of knitting a Hanging Baby Cocoon for her first newborn photoshoot. Yesturday I had an opportunity to make one and actualy snap some photos while she was peacefully sleeping.
This beautiful, chunky cocoon was made using an acrylic yarn in a stunning two tone yarn. Dallas Grey & Monterey Line colors. Cocoon doesn't have to hang, lay it in a basket or on soft, flat surface. Many uses for this versatile prop. Perfect for baby's first professional or at home photo shoot. Ideal baby shower or new baby gift or photographer studios.
Yes, I am excited, due to my husband and I planned a small out of town gateway for this weekend. It's been a while since we had one of these trips all to ourselves while our kids being babysat by grandma, and us not worry about nap times, feedings and tantrums. It's funny how I get excited about these gateways even if it's traveling a bit up north to a often then not rainy Seattle. Still I've been looking forward to spending this time alone with my hubby: walking in downtown Seattle, visiting our usual spots and coffee shops and ofcourse a bit of shopping therapy.
So today will definately be a busy day to finish and close out all the weeks business activity and get the kids ready, plus post all of the last years inventory.
With thats been said, I am offering 25% off on all of the knitted, crochet hats in my inventory. With spring just a round the corner I am exited to show new ideas and creations that I've been dying to knit, and all the hats got to go until next year. So head down to my Etsy shop to find a perfect hat for you or your little ones while supplies last.
I wanted to share some of the latest flower headbands and brooches that I've been ejoying making.
